In the artist's words - This peonies bush in our neighbour's driveway was a total surprise when all the buds opened one rainy evening. The flowers were cascaded by over grown local flora - mostly dog vine and ferns. It was a delight to chance upon them when partner said, 'Did you see these?'

Working with images drawn from nostalgia and travel, B'lu participates in promoting the beauty of our planet, by softly nudging the significance of human history and reintegrates these symbolically into her love for nature.
"We, as mankind, share a common reality and it is not always in plain sight. Art helps define who we are and this practice keeps us closer to the path of what we can become. I paint to tell myself and the world, how delighted I am to be able to live and make these paintings, simply because I can - It is my voice, loud and just as clear as my love and hope... for humanity and my planet."
